God is the source of all knowledge and truth.
Back says: What's the answer, 4 right? How do you know that? Because you're trusting your reasoning, you will say. But my question is how do you know your reasoning is valid? You say, "because I reason about it and come up with the answer." But how do you know your reasoning can be trusted and your brain isn't in a petri dish being used in an experiment? You don't know do you? So, you could be wrong about everything you claim to know. That's absurd. However, the Christian worldview teaches that you can know some things for certain because Jesus Christ is the source of knowledge and truth and he created us in such a way that we would use our reasoning to explore and understand his creation. If you don't start with the One True and Living God as revealed in the Bible you cannot make sense of why 2+2=4. The Creator of the world became a man nearly 2,000 years ago and lived a perfect life, conforming to God's law (the Ten Commandments). JESUS then died on the cross for sinners. 3 days later he arose from the grave proving he has the power to forgive and cleanse you of your sins and your failure to acknowledge HIM as the source of KNOWLEDGE and TRUTH. Jesus died not only to save you from your sins and the judgment to come, but also to save your reasoning now! REPENT (turn from your sin) and TRUST in Jesus! He alone can save you!
